I'm back home, for a decent amount of time...and able to add an entry tonight.

First off, our tafe field trip today:
We went to Bayswater Power Station today, I have one main thing to say..."Holy Shit." It is huge, everything is on a gigantic scale, from the 330 tons of coal used per hour, to the fact that it outputs enough energy to power just over 50% of NSW, from the one plant. The generator rotors weigh over 120 ton each, and spin at 3000rpm, and trust me, thats a lot of force there. Oh yeh, and it cycles about 4000 Megalitres through the cooling system per day (and yes, most of that goes back through the cycle again and again, not much is wasted). It is really a spectacle of what humans are able to achieve, it is just incredible.

In other news, the main issue that has been bothering me has been resolved, not the way I (remotely) hoped for, but instead with the expected outcome. But that's ok, cause everyone's happy.

Also, it's still to cold, where is summer already?
